Casa Dragones is an independent, small batch distiller with a passion for creating one style of tequila only; a uniquely smooth sipping tequila. Their commitment to excellence is evident in every part of their process, from the way they harvest to the precision of their hand finishing – including a striking bottle design.

The meticulous attention to detail that it takes to create each bottle of Casa Dragones can only be achieved by hand, not by machine. Every limited edition bottle is signed and numbered by hand, hallmarking the characteristics of that particular batch. Our complete approach takes time and expertise, making it possible to create only a small amount of Casa Dragones every year.
Pepita is a traditional technique of glass engraving that uses a wheel to carve out “seed-like” shapes in the glass. Literally translated, Pepita means “small seed.” The tradition began in Spain, and was brought to Mexico in the 1500s when Rodrigo de Espinoza opened Mexico’s 1st glass factory in Puebla. The native workers started to blend their own Pre-Hispanic designs into the glass, evolving the technique to the style now known as Pepita. Each bottle of Casa Dragones is hand-engraved by one of the few Mexican artisans skilled at this magnificent technique.
Each bottle of Casa Dragones is truly unique. We individually craft each bottle by hand in Mexico City, using pure, lead-free crystal. Skilled artisans place the hot crystal in molds, one by one, until the shape takes hold. The crystal is then sculpted, bathed and polished by hand until it develops a lustrous shine. The simple shape of our bottle creates an elegant decanter, fine enough to house our uniquely smooth tequila.
